Rain Rain and Rain!!! This is such a common subject these days. Loved the colors in the background. They are the traffic lights at the intersection while we waited for a green signal :)

Flowers from my reception :)  I was trying to experiment how much blur can the background can get when I am trying an aperture priority shot. This was the maximum that I could get owing to the fact that the other flower was very close to the subject.

Very bad attempt at taking a long exposure shot. I looked at this picture and I was about to lower the time for which the shutter was open...and then my camera battery died!! I had to adjust with this picture for that day. This is at OMSI, Portland downtown while we were returning from my skating class.

This picture I did not actually take on Jan 9th. I was so busy with my wedding reception guests. This was one of those days when we shopped for our wedding receptions. Sunset and reflections :) I always like pictures like these!

Another rainy day! We can see Chennai Masala through the car's mirror. Was trying for a bokeh shot...though I read an article today saying...point and shoots are so incapable of taking bokeh pictures. I will try n get another one to disprove this.

This picture was taken in super lowlight after a rain. The home in the background is the home we were supposed to look at. We were waiting for the realtor when I captured this pic. Focusing on the waterdrop was so tough!
